Oxtail tales...in Singapore

As told, i am currently in Singapore to attend a seminar and workshop for one whole week. I took the chance to meet up with a friend of mine. He used to be my client, although the project has completed, we still keep in touch till today. We went to this place, called "Wagor Wheel", a pub & restaurant somewhere in the middle of Bukit Timah (The land of the riches). According to my friend, this pub has been opened for the last 20 years, converted from some old shophouses. The guy in this picture, has worked there ever since the restaurant was opened. Nice ambience. A quiet and nice place to hang around with friends and families.

With live band.

Apparently, the signature dish there is this. The "Oxtail stew"

Got sir-ti-fi-ket one ler...(Singlish)

For you who did not know, Makansutra is founded by the affable K.F Seetoh, whose mission is to celebrate the best of Asian Food Culture and Lifestyle. It is a food company that does not sell food but also to promote and certify the "nice foods" around the region.

So i guess it must be pretty expensive right? But F it, must grab this opportunity to try this dish.

You are wrong. For 3 draft beers, one oxtail stew and one hainanese pork chop, it came up to SGD 38++ only.

Cheap and affordable. Next time when you come to the "land of kiasu", you might consider to drop by this place.

Eh, anyone can tell me how come oxtail got bone one mer?
