The "Myemail.my"

Another new projects under ETP (Economy Tranformation Programme), the "myemail".

These services will be available on the web portal that Tricubes is developing under the project. The portal's main feature is an email account, dubbed the MyEmail account, which will be offered to all Malaysians aged 18 and above for free.

Ok, this is what i gonna write when i received my first myemail account.

From: hungyew@myemail.my
To : Imnotsureifthegovernmentisgoingmadagain@myemail.my

Subject: "Rintihan hati seorang jejaka di Malaysia"

Dear My Gov,
First and foremost, i would like to congratulate you on making this "1 Malaysian 1 Email" a dream come true.
(As if i do not have already any other free gmail, hotmail, yahoo!mail, rocketmail account with me)

This has given us, the Malaysian the opportunity to voice our concerns and views through this dedicated inbox provided FREE by the government.
(If voices can't be heard, do you think what we write matters to you?).

It is indeed a brave move by the government to spend RM 50 Million to invest in the technology like that, and i do seriously salute! your move.
(50 Million? Why don't you spend it on repairing those leaking pipe on government office, or help the poor?Or just give us tax exemption for the whole year?)

And i want to share the joy of Tricube board of management for securing this mega project, it is because we knew your capability in the market of IT and technology.
(Did i just read in "The Star" that Tricube once has been classified as the GN3 company - Financially Distress category?)

And nevertheless, it is quite a relief, when you told us it will not involved any funds from the rakyat. It also did not require any funding or financial guarantees from the government.
(Are you bullsh*tting me?)

Yes, i also read that "The web portal will serve as a one-stop centre for government services, providing value-added services such as social networking, online bill checking and payment as well as web development toolkits for citizens and businesses organisations to creatively develop applications. Brilliant!

(Then what the F is myeg, malaysia.gov.my?)

Last but not least, i am proud to be a Malaysian who hold the email account of myself (hungyew@myemail.my).

Can i just create a unique identity for my email so that i will not clash with others?

Something like;

screwmeifyoudon'tlikemyopinion@myemail.my

Thank you.

Yours Sincerely,
Someone who love Malaysia

Check In

I bet no one will try to argue with me when i say Iphone is the world best mobile phone!

And i bet no one will try to strangle me either, when i say, facebook is the ultimate champions in terms of social networking site!

When combine this two into one, it is just "Legendary".

With the emergence of facebook, do not be surprise when your mother in law turn out in a club where you are dating someone else apart from her daugther.

Or your girlfriends suddenly "popped out" from nowhere when you are in the middle of "steamy action" with another girl in Hotel Seri Malaysia.

Thanks to the technology nowadays. The "Check in" features available on facebook on most of the smartphone. But as a genius i always used to be, i managed to capture a shortfall of the technology.

It actually just do whatever you instructed them to do.

Like in this case...

I checked into a cemetary land in Puchong Batu 14.

Now only i found out that you can actually "check in" to any places, no matter how stupid it sounds.
But this can be the greatest alibi to get you out from shitty situation.

Like how Anwar claimed he is updating his twitter and facebook account during the time when the leaked sex video showing him "in action" with another prostitute.

You see, how the emergence of technologies has literally changed the world we are staying in today.

Eh, did someone "LIKE" my status?

I knew Chua Soi Lek

Everyone knew what happened to our Health Minister, Dr. Chua Soi Lek once upon a time.
It is the hottest news in town at that time, and not mentioning his "everlasting ability" to "hump" a "Close friend" in a hotel in Batu Pahat.

The thing is, if you are in his shoe, getting caught red-handed on a video "doing that something fun" with another woman will not cause such a big upset in today's community. But as the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) president, his leaked sex tape is like a huge broom stick penetrating up right through his ars*.

But he is also human. Seriously i do not think that the decision to confess his wrong doing to the public has affected him badly. People treated the sex tape as entertainment only for quite a while. It is the topic you get to hear everywhere ranging from kopitiam to Marina Bay Sands. Did it change my whole views and perceptions towards his credibility? Nope. Not at all.

Especially since this does looked like a dirty game orchestrated by these politicians, especially during election. I always believe that with every election coming up, there tend to be the some kind of "erection" video popping up from nowhere.

Why do i think it is foul play? Even the man himself has already confessed?
It is because, i knew him very well. He is one of my friends. He play football together with me. He is the captain, the leader of my team.

What? You say at his age, he is not fit to play football anymore? And it is a lie that i have not met him in person before?

You are definitely wrong. I have the picture as proof. Really.

That is Chua "Sui Lick", my friend. (During younger days)

Disclaimer:
(This post is strictly for reading pleasure only and does not mean in any way, to insult or cause discomfort to any parties, be it Chua Soi Lek, MCA, or Anwar Ibrahim. Nor do the writer will bear any kind of responsibility of causing confusion on whether the video is really a foul play in today's theartical political secenes. It is your call, not mine)

Injured. Again.

I am Injured. Again.
After the first injury happened to my finger (Refer to the post Here), this is relatively a heavier one.

I suffer the injury during a football game on a sunday league match. It is just a simple knock that i literally ignore it until 60th minutes of the game.
The moment i realized that the pain was too much to bear, i realized it is something wrong. And i knew immediately it will last for quite some times.

God please help me to overcome this, ASAP.

Weekend Getaway for Myself..

Today is a weekened full of people.

Parked my car at Sunway Pyramid after my property training session, i immediately realized that it has been such a long long time since i have a weekend getaway from home.

The reason i have chosen Sunway as my weekend spot is due to the fact that it is a large shopping mall with almost everything in sight, and also very much nearer to my home too.

The difference this time is only that, i came alone.

Yes alone.

Actually i could be a person who would do everything, including watching movie alone whenever i have the chance to do so.

A weekend free of work stress, without constant phone rings, observing peeple around you, and most importantly, a quiet time for myself.

And it is only weekend when i have got the chance to do it.

Now i am quietly having my dinner at the "Wong Kok" restaurant, planning for the next activity.

Movie perhaps?

Get to go. Catch up with you guys next time.

Election...

D' Election day is coming.
I am awestruck by the fact that so many people asking me which party i am going to vote.
Even more so with the numbers of people that actually knew that i came from Sarawak. To be honest, i ain't bother to vote ever since i am eligible to do so.

(Is it 18 or 21?)

Some people say you will be "thrown from state" (Buang negeri) if they found out you have not vote for a long time.

To me, I DO AGREE that voting is our responsibility. But "buang negeri becos you do not vote"? Now that is ridiculous.

It is like your girlfriend's mum, who will ask you to marry her daugther just because you are courting her for five years, all of a sudden, when you say you are not ready, she is going to rip your head off.

Anyway, i do not care about which party is going to win, be it "Buang Negeri" (BN), "Pakar Tangjung Rambutan" PAKATAN , "Parti Anti Syaitan" (PAS), or "Macam Cina Apek" (MCA), whoever can make sure this country does not suffer from attack, live in harmony, i am with you.

I used to have a housmate during my university who actually went for election for University student council. I vote for him purely because he is my housemates. (Also because he actually beg me to do it).

When he asked me to carry a banner for him, i think that is bullshit.

He won a seat eventually. But ever since that day, i used to banged him on the promises that he had given during his speech that never realised.

Only a friendly fire lah-of course.

He is still my friend. And never would he imagine that during that election period, his dearie housemate (me) actually kicked down the apartment door just because he left the key somewhere, and he is urgently in need to shit.

I still remember we did a report say somebody has broke into the house and stole the slippers. What a lie!

Ya, from what i wrote here, you would know that i just ain't bothered about voting. So, please do not ask me the same question over and over again.

It doesn't mean that i have to vote just because i am a sarawakian, or even stay in the caves, just because i am from the borneo island.

Thank you

Eyebag & Eyemask

I have a serious problem with my eyes.

Don't get me wrong. It is not one of the eyes disease. It is just that i got a lots of this comments from girls (especially) lately.
Girl: You know, i've always think that you are one of the cutest guy i ever met.

Me: uhhump??
Girl: You looked just like one of the panda came out from the zoo!!

*&^%R$T

Ok. Now you guys get what i mean?
I have always carrying my eyebag and dark circle around. The problem is, even if i slept early, the "bag" and the "circle" is still there.

When i visit the zoo, even the real panda would laugh at my dark circles.
I think the quality of sleep is not there.

Only then i found out the reason why i can't seems to be sleeping well at night.
It is because of my sensitivity towards light.

Yes, i can't even stands if my master room toilet lights is on. (With the door closed).
So, to solve this headache, i found this.

I stumbled upon this first time when i was indow shopping at LCCT.

No it is not a bra.
It is an eye mask. I got so obsessed with this eye mask i will bring it whenever i go travelling.
I even have a spare one just in case i lost one of them.
One for home-use, one for travelling purpose.
Thank god with this kind of invention, i do not have to worry about sleepless night anymore.
It cost me around RM 12.00/pc only.
RM12 for a quality sleeps? I think it is peanuts!!
For those of you who do not have one, you can try to use your underwear or bra as substitutes.

And let me know the results. :)

The Old & The Old times...

At the "tender age" of 28, i don't see any reason to call myself an old man yet.

But reality hits me hard when kid nowadays just seems to love to call me "uncle" instead of "Gor gor".. Sigh.

I started to use face mask, started to feel the world is turning after 1 lap run on the football field, started to use "Oh-my-god-you-are-so-young-and-when-i-am-at-your-age.." kind of phrases more often than before.

How i wish i could go back to the years in the school uniforms, the years in the dorms, and etc etc.

It has since changed to a totally different kind of setup. - Meetings, lots of travelling, household utility bills, and "when you want to get married" sort of queries... Doraemon, can you please bring me back to the times when i am 18?

The Wine Company

My parents think alcohol consumption is a sin. But his son think it is a luxury of life. Well, no matter how divided our opinions are on this topic, this doesn't stop me from visiting this one amazing place in Singapore during my one week stay here. Welcome to "The Wine Company". Opened in Feb 2011, The Wine Company™ at Sentosa Boardwalk is a showcase of wine and its life-time partner, food. Here, you can find a perfect pairing from their 300-label wine list on the house pour menu of over 40 options. Nice Setup. When we reached there it is almost 7pm. Greeting us at the place is the nice sunset, and i immediately took a snapshot from it. It is a windy evening, and abosultely perfect place for gathering between friends and loved one. Overlooking the seaview, from the "Al Fresco" area. Nice artwork, by wires.
And how the place looked like when night falls.

And now, wondering why i did not introduce their signature wine or foods here?

You may found it all in http://www.thewinecompany.com.sg/.

The message here is, you don't have to impress your lady with your "pretend to know all the wines" attitude. Because there are at least couple of hundreds of wines in the list, i sincerely do not think you can remember it all loh!

Just drop by this place with her, sit down, order a couple of wine, have a nice conversation, make her laugh and you will have the high change of getting laid that night. (i am just joking...no?!??).

But as for the environment for a chillaxing session? 10 out of 10.

It is at Sentosa Broadwalk, near Vivo City. So, do drop by this place and check it out if you have the chance!

Oxtail tales...in Singapore

As told, i am currently in Singapore to attend a seminar and workshop for one whole week. I took the chance to meet up with a friend of mine. He used to be my client, although the project has completed, we still keep in touch till today. We went to this place, called "Wagor Wheel", a pub & restaurant somewhere in the middle of Bukit Timah (The land of the riches). According to my friend, this pub has been opened for the last 20 years, converted from some old shophouses. The guy in this picture, has worked there ever since the restaurant was opened. Nice ambience. A quiet and nice place to hang around with friends and families.

With live band.

Apparently, the signature dish there is this. The "Oxtail stew"

Got sir-ti-fi-ket one ler...(Singlish)

For you who did not know, Makansutra is founded by the affable K.F Seetoh, whose mission is to celebrate the best of Asian Food Culture and Lifestyle. It is a food company that does not sell food but also to promote and certify the "nice foods" around the region.

So i guess it must be pretty expensive right? But F it, must grab this opportunity to try this dish.

You are wrong. For 3 draft beers, one oxtail stew and one hainanese pork chop, it came up to SGD 38++ only.

Cheap and affordable. Next time when you come to the "land of kiasu", you might consider to drop by this place.

Eh, anyone can tell me how come oxtail got bone one mer?

The i-ugly meter

Camwhoring. Hrm...when you are 19 yrs old, do you like to camwhore? I bet you do. Recently i downloaded an application for my iphone whereby you can camwhore and at the same time, rate your "ugliness". Being a confident guy, i took the test.
Tiu ni a seng.

Convinced that something might go wrong when i took my own pic, i tried another time.

Almost step on my iphone.

Thinking that there might be something wrong with the apps, i decided to do some test.

I grab a Jolin Tsai photo, and subsequently took the test. Guess what?

She scored the perfect ten out of ten...for ugliness rating.

The conclusion?

1. The apps is a goner.

2. And i am the handsome guy.

Up in the air..

I love flying so much that once upon a time, i have this moment whereby i told myself i want to be a pilot.

But thinking back whereby i have to be held responsible for the life of the passengers who boarded my aircraft, i think better not-lah.

The thing about flying which fascinate me the most, obviously is the view from the sky. And not forgetting the isolation from the outside world, the moment of peaceful-ness, without handphone, without internet connection.

Just to share with you some of the photos i grabbed during those boring flights. Hope you don't mind!

This one was taken during the flight to Phuket, Thailand. It has been a while before i could actually really planned for a trip.

This was taken during my flight en-route to Singapore recently. The cloud formed so perfectly in such a way that it actually reflected the sunglight like a mirror!

This was taken last year when i flew in the helicopter to offshore Vietnam.

Talking about flying, there is this one movie called "Up in the Air" featuring George Clooney which i really want to share with you all.

In the movie, Ryan Bingham (George Clooney) is truly living the high life. Flying all over the world on business, he never stops moving...until he meets Alex, a fellow passenger and learns that life isn't about the journey, but the connections we make along the way.

Along the journey he managed to found out what he has been missing out in all his life, even her only sister's wedding, true love, families, and so on.

The story line is quite touching and interesting in the same time. So watch it. The thing is i can't recall where did i keep this DVD already. Gonna get a new one when i have the chance.

And oh yeah, next week i am flying off again. This time i will be away from home for one whole week to Singapore again. Will keep you guys updated once i am free!

But i am no George Clooney. Ahaaks.
