We have a new toy - SHARP Kagami Series

Ever since I moved in to my apartment in 2009, I have bought lots of stuffs.

A new TV. Sofa sets. New Bed. Dining table.

Basically all those furniture/goods that you could ever imagine when you are moving into a new house.

If there's anything i have left out, it would be a new refrigerator.

I have a second hand fridge which i has been using as early as 2007. A small fridge which would cater just enough for a bachelor guy like me at that time.

Last weekend, me and my fiancé just decided to shop for a new fridge.

After 5 shops, 6 different brands, and countless arguments along the way in that one single day window shopping for a fridge, we finally decided on this brand.

The SHARP brand Kagami-series. In Japanese, Kagami means a "mirror". Not quite sure how did the manufacturer came up with this name but i guess it is not really important.

I guess if it come with "Giyomi" series i would have to think twice about buying it.

For me, every single time when comes to choose a furniture or electrical gadgets i admit that i am more concern with the looks and design itself.

SHARP Kagami series?

Not only it looks modern and elegant, it also come with a touch screen for temperature and control settings.

(But don't ask me if I could perform the "sliding" feature like iPhone, coz i am going to slap you for sure.)

Rated at 5-star energy saving capability (up to 25%), I think I would have save a lot for my electricity bill next month.

Not only that, since it comes equipped with the Plasma cluster technology (which i would not elaborate further here) i guess i would not have to worry about the lifespan of my favourite cheesecakes anymore.

Priced at RM 2,450.00, it is really a bargain for a 650 liter fridge which would have cost us more that RM 3,000.00 a couple of years ago.

We were so excited when we received the fridge that we immediately went to Tesco to buy some groceries in order to stuff up the fridge.

The difference between a guy and a girl when come to owning a new fridge is this.

My girlfriend bought this.

As for me?

Standard.

What's the point of having a 650 liter fridge in a small apartment occupied by only two human beings if i couldn't stuff some beers inside?

Good things are meant to be shared.

You are welcome to visit my new fridge at my home.

I wouldn't mind sharing my Heineken with you.

Like!

A friend of mine called recently. Lets refer him as G.

G: Bro, I almost unfriend you from my facebook account.

Me: Why Lah?

G: For the past few months, every single time I visited your FB all I see is properties, properties, and properties!!

Me: I don't see any problem with that.

G: Why don't you just set up a facebook page dedicated solely just for your property business? It will look good rather than you put it up on your personal facebook page!

Hmm....

Me: Ya hor...True also. Ok. Thanks for the ideas man.

G: You should have asked me earlier!!

Me: Not that I didn't want to. But I only called you when I think or need some stupid stuff from you. Anyway let me try it out.

After a pain-staking job of looking into Facebook Help File, a little click here and there, finally there you go.

Just a little introduction to the page.

WHY Real Estates & Properties was set up with an aim to be a one stop center for property owners/buyers/investors to list/search/enquire about real estates& properties.

This page also provides the platform for discussions on Legal/Banking/Investments topics.

At the point of writing, i am still trying to put in as much information/articles that I could come across in order to make the page more exciting to be visited.

It can be your "Mudah.my" where you rent/sell your properties.

It also can be your "Lowyat Forum" where you could share/post your ideas/curse one another etc etc.

Most importantly, i would appreciate if you could spend 1 minute of your time and "Like" this page to show your support.

At least I can promise to do my best to make your stay on this page an exciting one.

Just like how you love my blog.

Nippon Momento Paint

Recently I have came through the advertisement of the Nippon "Momento" paint over the internet and think it may be a good idea to give it a tryout.

For those of you who didn't know what this Momento paint is, it is a type of paint that could give your wall a new look as if it was decorated by wallpapers.

So one fine day, I decided to head to the nearest paint shop and bought the painting set.

I was so excited that I decided to paint my dining hall wall first thing when I reached home.

Just for your info, a wall size of 8ft x 8 ft will require like two litre (or cans) of the paint, which cost about RM 95 each. Not forgetting the primer coat which you need to apply beforehand.

You will need to have the standard Nippon paint kit too in order to do the job also, and oh ya, maybe a ladder too.

So there we go...

With the hope it would look something like this at the end of the day.

But after a 5 grueling hours of pain staking painting job, this is what I got.

OK.

I think the paint is overrated. (Not my problem).

Will shop for wallpaper to cover it up tomorrow.

Bravery

The best part about blogging is, we could ALMOST (Noted: Almost) write everything and anything that we would love to.

I can still recall the days when I literally screwed KWSP upside down in my blog to the stage whereby I received an email from on of the CEO. (Not a bad response for an "unknown" bloggers like me).

When I told my mum about this, the only thing she says was "You could ended up in jail if you continue to write those kind of stupid remark on the internet".

But I reckon that my blog was "still OK'' if compared to some of those bloggers who literally got into trouble when they start writing something like "I want to bomb the prime minister" sort of comments on Facebook and got him into trouble.

That was STUPIDITY.

Simple as that.

As for my blog, the intention is very clear. I am a guy who loves to laugh a lot. Although my grammar can be sucks at time, but I really do hope my readers would enjoy every single thing that I have posted on my blog.

Be it Leisure.

Be it travel.

But sometimes I can be as bold as trying to do something which requires "bravery out of the box".

Like toying with our prime minister photo?

Or maybe this?

It requires a lot really heavy pair of balls to be able to post this into my blog.

But nothing's going to beat this.

The bravest thing I have done so far in my life...settling down as a husband for my woman.

(Sorry it is a bit unclear).

Well, this is my registration of marriage application form which has been duly approved to be conducted on 21-Dec-2013. (Provided there were no any objection from any parties within 21 days from the date of application)

And yes, it is on my birthday!

You can laugh on my "bravery", but I don't care.

I felt like a hero anyway.

Jokers...

In Malaysia, a lot of thing can be turned into a joke.

Like missing ballot boxes + blackout during election.

Like cows living in a luxury condominium.

Even our prime minister can becoming a subject of a joke.

And our latest joke?

Now let's see what we have got here.

Up to date, the KLIA 2 project has been delayed by more than five times from the initial plans.

As a former engineer, I agreed that sometimes it is out of our hand that a project especially at this kind of scale will be lacking behind schedules. (not to mention the ballooned 4 billion mark)

But it is the fact that the blaming game between the three parties who involved in this projects, namely MAHB, Air Asia and UEM-Binapuri JV is becoming more and more like a circus show.

Based on my humble opinion as an engineer, when the blaming game came into picture, the issue of who's worng and who's not will never be resolved.

MAHB, Airasia and UEM-Binapuri should start working together in a more effective way in order to see out the completion of this project.

You guys know how much time and effort that an engineer has to put in in order to open up their file and trying to trace the proof in order to push the delay and responsibilities to other party other than themselves?

Believe me, you don't want to know it.

In today's world, cost, time, and quality of a project is everything.

Especially when the project in always in the interest of the public eyes.

Stop blaming one another.

Lets move on and say goodbye to the cramped LCCT!
