The wedding and the songs...

Another wedding.

Recently, my girlfriend's aunt is getting married. (Eherm). For the second time.

I guess it is kind of a blessings for her to finally found the "right one".

As we all knew, wedding ceremony nowadays is not only about:

1. Dinner in a chinese restaurant.
2. Old and fat uncle singing the karaoke out loud as if it is their own concert. (Some even bring their own CD).
3. Shouting "yaaaaaammmmmm.......seeeeeeeeggggGGgg!!!" (I really did not see a point in this)

Anyway, back to the story. Actually for this wedding, i am assigned to a very special task.

Preparing the wedding songs for the guest.

This can't be hard, as far as i am concerned. But it can be a very tricky situation whereby you need to do your research and know who are the guests and the couple's requirements.

It doesn;t get any better when after 2 hours of doing this, i find myself actually scratching my head and my balls.

Then, i decided to seek the opinion from the public to propose their choices of songs for a wedding, via facebook. I did received a very positive response, only a few of them, is just, well, so called "Buat kacau saja".

So at the end of the day, i decided to propose to come up with mixture of everything. Hopefully it turn out fine.

God bless.

The arrival, of a new John Mayer

"We got the afternoon~~you got this room for two,

one thing i've left to do~~

Discovering me, discovering you, oh oh..~~" John Mayer (Your body is a wonderland)

For 28 years of life, i have failed in one thing. Learning at least one musical instrument in my life.

I have since bought a guitar. Why guitar? Good question.

For one, it is easier to carry around compared to piano or drum sets.

For two, it does not generate loud and unwanted noise to wake up your neighbour's sleeping granny.

For three, i can whack anyone with a guitar if they are laughing at me!

So now, where to start?
One of my colleagues has suggested a site to me, www.ultimate-guitar.com.

My only problem is now, looking for spare time to toy around with it.
Don't want to dissapoint my dad. He told me this the other day when i bought it.

Me: The guitar is nice. which colour?
Dad: Owh, black one, definitely looks nicer.
Me: I guess i will get a bag and a guitar stands too.
Dad: Great idea! Just in case you are bored and done with it, you can put the guitar on the stand as display in your living hall!

(Wah lao eh~~)

The Hall Pass

After doing some house chores and laundry, i guess it is time for a movie.
The difference is, it is too late now for me to crash into a cinema. (They don't sell tickets at 2am isn't it?)

How to solve this problem then? Oh ya, rememebered there was an uncle who sell DVDs at the shoplot there. Immediately get my car keys and drive down to meet him, and managed to get 2 Dvds for the night.
1. SWAT
2. Hall Pass.
The second movie, "Hall pass" is kind of a revealation to me. In fact, i would recommend all my "sudah kahwin" punya brother to watch it with their wife.

Normally when you see Owen Wilson, you would be expecting some damn funny shits in that movie. Unfortunately this time, it is not the humour that caught my attention. it is more on the message it is delivering.

2 bestfriends are granted a "Hall Pass" for a week by their respective wife - which means, they could do anything, and everything, without having their ass kicked. (Including sleeping with other women".

How do they got their "Hall Pass"?
Guys, watch the movie and learn from it.

And why did the woman give the "Hall pass"?
They just love their husband too much.

You should grab one of those DVD and watch it with your loved one. Believe me. I am not saying that this concept does work for every couples, but at least it is a way for all of us to understand one and only thing that matters in a relationship.

Men and women are wired up all different to each other.

And "Ah Kua", is just something that happened once in a while. It is when the god yelled "Oh shit, not again!" from his lab.

@ Singapore 9-10th June 2011

Was back in Singapore for a two-days meeting trip.

This time, i decided to stay in Traders. One of the bestselling hotel in Singapore, the price definitely doesn't come cheap at RM 800++ per night.
Anyway it is on my company accounts and i am elegible to it. So still ok for me. :)

For those of you who have a tight string on yor wallet, choose the group of Hotel 81, but if you are on a company trip, you may want to consider it, the Traders hotel.

A Picture paints a thousand word.

Outside the lobby of the hotel.

Some snapshot.

The very first night, we had seafood at the Long Island Seafood restaurant. The food went really well with the Erdinger beer, my choice of beer for the meantime. At SGD 25 a jug, it is definitely cheaper that the RM39-per pint that we could get at The Library in KL.

It is good to wash down the red chilly crab, one of the most famous dish you can find in Singapore.

Maybe the alcohol beverage taxes imposed by the Singapore government is lower?

Managed to take a few more shots from the hotel.

The swimming pool. (I brought my swimming trunk, but as always, i have not time for a dip in their luxury swimming pool)

View from my room.

My working table.

The comfy bed they offering.

Overall, same as in 2009 when i last stayed in this hotel, thumbsup for their services.

For cheaper hotel rate, visit Agoda.com and search for your dream accomodation that would not cry over the bills.

And for one thing, they offer you a cash back if you can find any other website that offer rates which is much lower than them. But please be informed that, if your were to claim it back from your company, the hotel would not be able to produce the receipt for some reason. (Price charged by the hotel to Agoda is different than the one Agoda charged you).

But this can be solved by logging into Agoda.com and click on the "Send my receipt", they will email the receipt to you.

Cool isn't it? Check out www.agoda.com today.

I am a bachelor guy

You know you are bachelor, when your life is just like mine on a typical day:

1. Woke up @ 7am, shower, breakfast, and go to work.
2. Reach home @ 6.30pm, do your laundry.
3. Shower, then cook some maggie mee because you are just too lazy to dapao.
4. Read some books, or online, watch tv, before sleeps again.

Isn't it wonderful?
Do you have a life like mine?

If yes, then you should get a life, travel, doing some gym or yoga, whatever you need to just to spice up your life!!

Confirm Monday blues again.

Lazy Saturday, Hardworking Sunday

Yesterday i have a really lazy saturday.
Just doing nothing, lying on the sofa.
Today i have a real busy Sunday. Ironing my clothes, packing for my football matches, take care of the laundry and so much more.
Shit, tommorrow is Monday already.
I will make sure i am gonna enjoy it as much as my weekend.
Just by "doing nothing at all"~~ (Check out Bruno's "The Lazy Song").

The Fridge Magneto...

When you are in primary school, your teacher used to ask you to write about your hobbies.
But it is kind of weird really when you have to fill in your "hobbies" when you are actually applying for a job.

As if you can get a faster promotion if you write in the column : Hobbies: Collecting stamps, and love my boss.
Recently, i picked up a new hobby - Collecting fridge magnet.
But if i were to collect fridge magnet only when i am travelling, it would take years and years.
Is ok, i will just get my friend who travelled to get me a magnet from that country.

The one below, i bought it from Genting Highlands.

This one, a friend of mine bought it for me from his trip to China. Thanks Eric.

This one is from Korea, also from a friend of mine.

Phillipines, a place which will never let me down everytime i travel there. Nice place, nice party,

and nice ladies!

Then, a piece of magnet from Phuket, Thailand. I always told my friend i would not travel to a same place twice, unless needed to. But Phuket, herm...maybe club med next time. eh?

Anyone can donate me some of your fridge magnet please?

Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus

You know, reading has always been one of my hobby (Apart from getting pissed drunk).
It is some kind of the spiritual thing to do everytime before i go to bed.
Recently, i found a book, a book that has received rave reviews from a lot of readers. But being the fan of "Four Four Two" and "Playboy" magazine, (I was just joking on the latter one, lol), it took me nearly half a year before i actually started to read this book.

Not that i have finished reading it. Just by reading the first ten pages, i think i have found just what i needed the most. "Eureka!!".
Well, i always thought that i am a complicated man. But this book actually taught me that, i am not alone.

At least i realized something. Which is how much DIFFERENCE between a guy's penises and a woman's heart. (There is where they kept their logic and rationale).

I am not going to go details into this book as it would take my whole lifetime to write about it, before getting caught pants down with plagiarism.

But, it is at upmost importance that a guy and a girl need not only to love each other, but also o understand their needs in order to maintain their relationship or marriage.

I do hope that someday, someone will write a film on this.

And this guy got a PHD???
