How dumb can i be?

I have a sneezing problem due to the history of sinus since i was younger.

If there's any presence of dust, i will be sneezing non-stop. That's one of the reason that almost every week i would appoint a part time maid to come and clean my house.

Then one of my friend asked me "Why don't you try to install an air purifier in your house?".

So i bought the SHARP air purifier. Why?

Because physically i think it looks nice.

(Smashing my head first into the wall).

After installing the air purifier, i think the air quality really does improved a lot and i have less sneezing problem nowadays.

But only one issue here, the air purifier was quite noisy compared to my friend's one. The idea of manufacturing defect has never cross my mind seriously.

So on one fine day, i decided to open up this purifier to clean the filter.

To my horror. 

THE FARKING FILTER WAS STILL KEPT IN A PLASTIC BAG!

For freaking TWO MONTHS!!!!

I almost shoot myself on the day itself.

WTF.

I shouldn't have become an engineer in the first place.

Go ahead and insult me now.

Ideal life.

A lot of people asked me before what is my definition of an ideal life?

Each and every single time when i was asked about this, my mind goes boom-boom-paw.

But one thing is for sure, there is no perfect and trouble-free life. Some people may think so long that they have money more than what they can spend, that's an ideal life.

To me, even the richest person in the world will have their own bad hair days.

Surprisingly, i think i may have the answer for that question now.

"My friend, your life will be an ideal one if only it works like a computer."

Take an example, whenever you face a problem in your life, just go ahead and press the "Delete" button and it is gone.

Or you saw a pretty girl on the street, all you need to do is just to press "Enter".

You are not satisfied with your physical outlook, you have photoshop to do the neccesary adjustment.

And when everything seems to go wrong..

Just do what we do best.

To me, that's what i think is an ideal life.

But it is impossible. Life is not like a computer.

It does not comes with an instruction manual and tell you how to go step by step in order to achieve everything you want in life.


I am 30 this year, and guess what? People used to think that i have a good job with a stable income, have a car and own a home. This is the time that i should be able to settle down as an "adult".

But in two more months, i have chose to let go of my job. Going to be jobless, without a stable income (and good bonuses?)

This morning was IM-ing a friend. This is how the conversation (Roughly) goes.

Her: Shit la, now that i remember you are leaving, no one is going to tease me or listen to me anymore.

Me: You know what, i guess this company is not so bad after all.

Her: You chicken! You retracted your resignation letter??

Me: No no. The thing is, i have also told my girlfriend last night. I have my ups and downs in this company over the years. The good thing, remained good. But even if i have the bad moments in this company, it taught me how to become a better person in the future. So i guess, whatever happened, i have gain more that what i have lose over the years in this company.

Talking about losses, it would be the quality time for my family, and for myself.

I guess for the month when i am jobless, while waiting for a new job, i will enjoy some luxury time for my family and friends. And also, do some travelling which i don't really have time to do for the past couple of years.

Maybe more time to update this blog.

It doesn't sounds that bad after all eh?
